Gear we'd take out ourselves

Shop Camp Gear is a small, independently owned outdoor shop based in Chandler, Arizona. We started it for a simple reason: finding solid, reasonably priced camping gear online meant wading through thousands of near-identical listings with no way to tell what was actually worth buying.

So we do the sorting for you. Every tent, hammock, sleeping bag, chair, and stove in this store was chosen because it hits a sweet spot of build quality, weight, and price that makes sense for real weekend trips, from a night in the Superstitions to a week on the Mogollon Rim.

What you can count on

Ships from the US. Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days and typically arrive within 5 to 12 business days. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it's available.

Why the prices are what they are

We're not a big-box retailer and we don't pretend to be. We work directly with a small group of manufacturers and US warehouses, skip the middle layers, and pass that along. Some of the brands we carry, like Naturehike and Fire-Maple, are well known to backpackers; others are less familiar names that we've found to punch well above their price tag.
